What are Polyphonic Ringtones?
Ordinary ringtones play one musical note at a time, whereas polyphonic ringtones play multiple notes, creating a fuller, richer sound. Polyphonic capable handsets only became available in the UK from January 2002, and then only via a small number of models such the Samsung T100 or Nokia 3510.
Polyphonic Ringtones are now availabe for the following makes of mobile phone. Nokia, Motorola, Ericsson, Sagem, Siemens, Samsung.
